Maybe you simply want to get away from the stress that you're getting from your school, office, home or life itself - here's some ways that can help you.
1. STRESS EATING
Do some binge eating. You can either go at your favorite restaurant and have your fill of good food or you can just stay at home and satisfy yourself with your comfort food.
2. TAKE SOME TIME TO WALK
Half an hour of walk can do so much for you. It gives you time to think about things. This also allows you to be one with nature and can give you a feeling calmness.
3. SING YOUR STRESS OUT
Go and look for a karaoke bar either alone or with friends. Choose the songs with the highest pitch. Don't worry about hitting the notes right, just sing from your heart and pour everything you feel to what you are singing.
4. PLUG THOSE EARPHONES ON AND FORGET EVERYTHINGIf you're not really into singing, you can opt to just listen to music. This time try paying attention to how the drums beat, how the guitar was strummed and try to understand what the song is trying to tell you.
5. WATCH A MOVIE OR READ A BOOK
Maybe the real world is too real and is stressing the hell out of you. You might need travel into another world even by just staying in your comfort zone. Reading a book or watching a movie can help you achieve this.
6. LET THOSE TEARS FALL DOWN
Pent-up emotions are one of the things that cause stress. Crying is not actually a sign of weakness; it is one way of releasing stress.
7. TRY SOMETHING NEW
Go away from your routine every day. Try something new, something you haven't done before and something that won't bore you.
8. PAMPER YOURSELF
Visit the salon. Have your nails painted, put some highlights to your hair, have some facial scrub or have a full-body massage. This kind of pampering can give you time to relax.
9. TREAT YOURSELF
Visit the mall, buy something for yourself. In exchange, you'll get a delightful feeling.
10. SLEEP
Try sleeping in bed longer. Sleeping is the time for our body to rest and heal. It helps you clear your mind and refresh your messy thoughts as well. Since stress is subjective, the ways on hour to lessen it also differs from one person to another.
The list above is just suggestions that you can use. The best way to deal with your own stress still lies on you.

DeleteYes, crying is not for the weak. It's a way of releasing stress. This article reminds us that we also need to unwind and break free from stress and there are various ways to cope up with it. :)
